Deoghar is actually a holy city alongside the Mayurakshi River in the state of Jharkhand. The old Baba Baidyanath Temple complex is a huge Hindu journey site. There is a place of worship to Krishna in the stone-cut Naulakha Mandir temple.
In the upper east of the town is the Harila Jori, which is the site of a Shiva temple and a holy water tank. The well known Baidyanath Temple is situated here.

The holy city of Deoghar houses the renowned Baidyanath Dham temple, which is one of the twelve jyotirlingas in the country and it is the essential tourist attraction over here.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith is a private school and it was established in the year of 1922 and is known for its quality education in secondary as well as the higher secondary section. It is otherwise called Bangla Vidyapith among local people. This school is run by Rama Krishna Math, Kolkata. It consists of a private Secondary and Senior Secondary School, a very much furnished altruistic medicinal unit with present-day diagnostic facilities.
Birla Institute of Technology in the city was set up in the year of 2007, on the demand of the Government of the state. It is controlled authoritatively and scholastically by BIT Mesra.
Naulakha Temple is a delightful temple of Radha-Krishna on the outskirts of the city.
